Campus Minister- Mount Royal University

Chinook Winds Regional Council is seeking a Campus Minister to support Campus United at Mount Royal University in Calgary. This three-year, 14 hours/week position will foster an inclusive and welcoming Christian community on campus through pastoral and spiritual care, community gatherings, leadership development, and social justice initiatives. The Campus Minister will work as part of MRU’s multifaith campus team and build connections among students, faculty, staff, and local communities of faith. Candidates should have experience working with young people and developing youth or young adult programs, along with strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Church Planter/Campus Minister- Olds College

Chinook Winds Regional Council is seeking a church planter to help launch a new United Church community of faith in Olds, Alberta. Located close to Olds College, the new ministry has a particular focus on engaging young adults and developing Campus United ministry on campus. The successful planter will lead a team that is expected to include two Campus United community connectors. The position is available as one full-time role, with approximately half the time dedicated to campus ministry, or as two part-time roles, including one focused specifically on engaging young adults at Olds College.
